Ranch Dip Mix

This is one of my favorite recipes to share with people! Ranch Dip Mix like you buy in the packets is easy to make, lasts a long time, and is so much healthier than the store bought stuff.

The packets you buy at the store contain: salt, monosodium glutamate, dried garlic, modified food starch, dried onion, maltodextrin, spices, less than 2% of: guar gum, buttermilk, calcium stearate, natural flavor (soy).

I’ll pass and make my own thanks.

For this ranch dip mix you need: dried parsley, dried dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, onion flakes, black pepper, dried chives, and salt.

To make the dip mix, just blend all the ingredients together. If you want the ingredients finer you can grind them in a mortar and pestle, but it is not necessary.

Once you have it mixed you can use it immediately, or you can do like I do and make multiple batches at a time and keep it in an air tight jar.

Once you have it made you use two tablespoons for 16 oz. of sour cream to make dip. You can also use 2 tablespoons as a replacement in recipes that call for a package of ranch seasoning mix.

Super simple and no chemicals! Try it, I think you’ll love this ranch dip mix and those little packets of powder will never be found in your cabinets again.
